James Culbreth

James oversees our adult education ministries. He is a graduate of Auburn University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  He has served churches in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama for over 30 years.  Suzanne, his wife, is a high school teacher. They have two “nearly grown” daughters, Bethany and Jordyn.

David Eanes

David is our Minister to Children and Families.  He is from Birmingham and graduated from Vestavia Hills High School in 1990.  He received a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from the University of Alabama in 1995 and a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2001.  Before coming to Meadow Brook Baptist Church in the fall of 2007, David served as Minister of Families and Discipleship at Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Montgomery, AL.  He and his wife Cammie have two children, Jacob and Molly.

Ben Birdsong

Ben Birdsong was called as our Student Minister in September 2013 after serving with students for four and a half years at First Baptist Church of Pelham.  Ben is married to Liz.  He loves Starbucks, reading, movies, music, and spending time with family and friends.  Ben has a great desire to see students grow in their faith in Christ and to see God use them to make an impact for Him on their campuses and in their communities.  Ben was ordained and licensed into the ministry from the Church at Brook Hills in July 2009.  He holds bachelor’s degrees in marketing and human resource management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a master’s degree in divinity from Samford University’s Beeson Divinity School.  Ben is currently a Doctor of Ministry student with a focus in Ministry to Emerging Generations at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary just outside of Boston, Massachusetts.

Kelley Young

Kelley Young is over all church preschool ministries. She has been working in the Preschool Department at Meadow Brook for 12 years. She loves spending time teaching the children through Bible studies, cooking classes, special events and everyday interaction. Kelley enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, and planning any party. She is married to Bill and they have 1 very special son, Chris.
